Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; if this is not the case, a justification should be given in "Comments to the editor".
  • By submitting an article, authors agree to the ethical policies and undertake to conduct research in accordance with the highest ethical and legal standards.
  • When submitting an article, authors declare that all human participants have provided informed consent to take part in the research.
  • The author(s) take(s) responsibility for the content of the article submitted to the journal and authorize(s) its publication.
  • The article must be presented in grammatically correct form. The evaluators will not make corrections, on the understanding that an article with problems of this nature cannot be approved for publication. Articles submitted outside the correct grammatical standards will be automatically rejected. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that the submission is in the correct grammar.
  • The submission file must be in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
  • URLs for the references have been provided where possible.
  • The text is 1.5-spaced; uses a 12-point font; uses italics instead of underlining (except in URL addresses); figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document as appendices.
